Smartphones are getting bigger - this trend is not new and has now even reached the iPhone. The limits between smartphone and tablet Smartlet be doing but ever softened: HTC has placed the J Butterfly (or DLX) a 5 inch device between smartphone and Smartlet, Huawei Ascend Mate is the with its 6.1 inch display directly between the Smartlet- and tablet chairs. That does not, of course, that these devices will not find a target group. The first images of the Ascend Mate then also show an interesting tool (see cover photo).
Visually presented the Ascend Mate in rather simple, typical Huawei design. The technical data were already as far as known: 6.1 inch display with Full HD resolution, 1.8GHz quad-core Hisilicon-K3V3 processor (the successor to Huawei's Hisilicon K3V2 processor that the Huawei Ascend D Quad find XL), 2GB of RAM and 4000 mAh battery. On October 29, the day of the great Google presentation, or 30 October - Huawei Chairman and official Invite Flyer contradict unfortunately - to be officially launched in Beijing, the Ascend Mate - then we will also see more details on price and release date learn.
At the same event is the successor of the Huawei Honor (or Honour, to spell prevails unfortunately disagreement) will be presented, of whose existence we had not heard anything yet. If the leaked specifications of the Huawei Honor 2 should, however, agree to give us a very exciting smartphone is here in the house:
1.8GHz quad-core processor Hisilicon (presumably also the K3V3)
4.5 inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution
2 GB RAM
8 megapixel camera
Dual SIM card slots
It is particularly interesting the Huawei Honor 2, however, as well as its predecessor, by the price: In China, it is 1799-1999 yuan, converted 220-245 Euro cost, and would for a similar price in other countries the competition pretty put under pressure. Already the predecessor was able to inspire with a RRP of 299 euros to the specifications for offered; the successor could sit on a 'there again. One can only hope that the Huawei Honor 2 will be available internationally slightly faster than its predecessor - or other Huawei announced smartphones.
